What is GT Rewritten?
As the name suggests, GT Rewritten is a story that builds on the legacy of the Dragon Ball GT anime (1996-1997), but obviously in the written format. The controversial nature of the original, which especially in the beginning tried to be more like the first Dragon Ball anime rather than its closest predecessor, Dragon Ball Z, does not discourage our author. He tries to extract the hidden potential from GT's squandered ideas while drawing inspiration from other Dragon Ball media and implementing his own completely original concepts.
The goal of the GT Rewritten project is to create an original follow-up to Akira Toriyama's manga with love and care for the original. We want the story to be rich in comedy, colorful characters, show an interesting expanded world, have a plot with various twists and turns and of course epic duels. We hope you will be satisfied!

The Origins of GT Rewritten
One sunny day in August 2020, I came to the conclusion that Dragon Ball GT, or "the side story of Dragon Ball," has great potential, often underestimated by fans. I decided to bring it out by expanding the storyline and creating my own version - Rewritten.I try to base it roughly on Toei Animation's original ideas, which I don't consider worthless, but I add my own to them. I hope you will like my style and stay for longer.

Nevertheless, the whole project is more than just a story! All the images that you will encounter while reading (including character designs, Chapter covers and other illustrations) have been created by BanDoc's associate ReAwakenZ (ERAZEE). In addition, based on the Chapters, a so-called fandom is also being created. This is a community designed for fans, where anyone will be able to document all topics related to our series, just as the Dragon Ball Wiki does, for example. After reading all the Chapters, you can check it our for yourselves and help expand it, since currently there are no articles made in English. However we still have the built-in feature that translates it all automatically with more or less success.
